Why did you make two posts when you could have added the photo to the first?
Do you suppose it was because he wasn't aware of that option? Happens quite a bit, even with more experienced UHH users. Not everyone knows everything here, though I personally do try

Nice!
Is it possible to try different colors for the frame, and see if anything pops for you?
I ask because 'way back in High School photography class, I mounted a B+W photo of a cemetery on a green board, and the teacher loved the contrast between the green of life and the monochrome of the cemetery. That has stayed with me for over a half century.

That's an excellent idea, Rich. Thank you! I'll try next time I post a b&w to UHH. Here's how it looks on flickr: https://flic.kr/p/2pRppB7

I'm very appreciative of your time and interest!

This makes a terrific b&w with the tonal range. Love how the lights look, and the floor, and the brick wall, and the shirts. Great composition and result!

I like this effect! Makes me feel the noise, hustle and bustle and claustrophobic conditions

Thanks Linda... When researching bald eagles, I found an article on photographing bald eagles... It's top three tips for doing that was:
1. expose for the head
2. expose for the head
3. expose for the head

It made me chuckle!
That's great!

I had the good fortune of being able to follow an eagle's nest for five years. It was far, far away and I used the bridge camera, Canon SX50. I got to see - if not achieve "great" photos - through fledging of four sets of twins and a set of triplets. An experience I'll never forget.

Or should I repost this in the "photo analysis" sub-forum??...
You could certainly do that, but I think they're wonderful, particularly given the conditions.

It would be most important to me to have details in the eagle's head, as well as clarity. I have found that in shooting raw with my Olympus, under-exposing and then bringing out details from shadows (should I desire to do so) works best. You've already figured that out here with your current file type and editor.

I see two strong subjects here: the cracked wall and the rusty pole in the foreground.

Since the foreground is out of focus in this shot, I find more interest in the wall. Viewed up close, the wall reveals lots of intriguing details and textures.

If you focused on the pole and eliminated the top half of the photo, you would have a geometric study of urban decay that includes the bottom part of the wall and pavement, with the weeds adding to the feeling of abandoned structure.

For a couple of years now I've been trying to see "everyday" objects differently, especially in a more abstract way. Here are two recent of mine:

Shooting this way is challenging, fun and sometimes rewarding! I wish you joy in your journey.
