Walking into the park area to work with my guys over the loud-mouthed cicadas, I heard a strange sound. At first, I thought it might be a squirrel, but looking around me, I couldn't see one. I finally looked closer and saw a tiny baby bird. I became concerned as it was chirping now loudly, and as I approached, it did not attempt to fly. So, I just spoke to it for a bit and then decided it was best to leave, hoping the mom would return and not a hawk. Later, when I came back, it was gone. I can only hope for the best.
