Hello. I am in need of a circular polorizer for my Sigma 60-600mm lens. The choices found so far are:
B+W 105mm Basic Circular Polarizer MRC Glass Filter at $213.99 or
Urth 105mm Circular Polarizing (CPL) Lens Filter (Plus+) - 20-Layer Nano-Coated, Slim Design for Camera Lens Polarization at $199.
My experience with B&W has been excellent.
Urth is an unknown brand.
Does anyone have an opinion about the Urth brand or this particular B&W cp?
Which would you choose?
Thanks for your recommendation.

For $14 I'd get the B+W.

No Tiffen or Hoya available?

For $199, no brainer, breakthrough photography x4 cpl. Order direct through them. In stock now.

Its not often that the best possible product is also the least expensive. The other brands have bananas pricing at 105mm.

This is the one I have used cause price makes little difference in the operation of a polarizer. They all do just about the same regardless of price. The main difference is the quality of the glass in the lens.
A fool and his money are soon parted.

B+W is still the preferred top quality brand. I use them and K&F filters most. I have never used Urth brand, sorry. Urth could be excellent, but I just don't know. I would need to do some research on them.

IMHO for the relatively small price difference, I would go with the B+W

Cheers and best to you.
